Becoming your best is an exciting and challenging journey to personal success. It requires you to be committed and determined, and to concentrate on what you need to know. Take Stock In Children is your partner on this journey. We will work as hard as you, but it is up to you to achieve your goals. In support of your success, Take Stock In Children promises you:

  • Clear Direction: communicating -- in detail -- what you (1) need to concentrate on, (2) need to do to earn your scholarship, and (3) can expect from Take Stock In Children.

  • Preparation: (1) teaching you the disciplines of success and (2) making sure you are exposed to the information, experiences, and skills needed to be successful in life.

  • Support: (1) making a long-term pledge to help you take advantage of your opportunities, (2) being there when you need help, and (3) celebrating your growth and achievement along the way.

These promises to you are one part of what it takes for you to be your best. The other part is you keeping the three promises of a good Student:

  • Commitment: (1) concentrating on the task at hand, (2) working hard, (3) being disciplined, and (4) thinking clearly about your choices before you act.

  • Citizenship: (1) living by the principles and rules of Take Stock In Children, and (2) asking for help before it is too late.

  • Involvement: (1) being passionately engaged in creating your future, (2) challenging yourself, and (3) constantly working to improve.

These six promises are the ingredients of your success. Keeping them is the source of your bright future through education. They are the stepping stones to a growing confidence, competence, pride, sense of belonging, and hope. Both of us keeping our promises ensures that you achieve our goal for you of:
